Claudette Morel’s default survivor outfit is rooted in practical utility—a botanical researcher unexpectedly pulled into the Fog. Her appearance pairs contrasting color blocks with functional garments: a dark pink short-sleeve button-down layered directly over a fitted teal long-sleeve top, cropped denim, rectangular blue frames, and dreadlocks tied back.
Because the silhouette relies on everyday clothing pieces rather than tailored fantasy armor, the distinction of this outfit comes down to matching the color contrasts and adding convincing wear. Off-the-rack garments straight out of the package appear too tidy; weathering and simulated battle damage turn them into an authentic Dead by Daylight survivor.
The Layered Shirts and Color Blocking
The contrast between the dark pink button-up and the teal long-sleeve underneath serves as Claudette’s primary visual identifier across the trial grounds.
For the outer layer, the Dark Pink Button Down Blouse with Pockets provides the collar, dual chest pockets, and button placket that define her field researcher styling. If the short sleeves fall too low, cuff them slightly above the elbow to let the teal sleeve emerge cleanly along the forearm.
Underneath, wear a fitted Teal Long Sleeved Undershirt. A lightweight crewneck base layer prevents overheating while wearing two tops, reducing bulk around the shoulders and neck. Unbutton the top two buttons of the pink blouse so the teal neckline shows at the throat.
Denim Capris and Footwear
On her lower half, Claudette wears mid-rise denim cropped below the knee. The Women’s Capri Jeans provide the proper mid-calf length and casual cut without requiring alterations.
Her jeans show fading across the thighs and wear along the hems from sprinting through overgrown brush. You can distress the fabric along the pockets with coarse sandpaper or brush diluted brown fabric paint across the knees to knock down the brand-new retail shine.
For footwear, Claudette wears utilitarian, low-profile dark walking shoes with neutral socks. Sturdy trail runners or canvas sneakers in faded grey, muted brown, or dusty navy blend naturally with the capris and handle convention floors comfortably.
Hair and Eyewear
Claudette’s rectangular frames sit squarely on her face and emphasize her studious personality. The Blue Rectangular Clear Lens Glasses match her visual design with their subtle blue tint and slim rims. Clear lenses are especially convenient indoors, letting you navigate dimly lit convention halls with normal visibility.
For her hairstyle, the Faux Loc Wig provides the loc texture Claudette wears gathered back from her face. Her dreadlocks are bundled toward the nape of the neck or tied into a loose low puff. Securing the wig locs with a dark brown or black hair tie keeps the hair off your collar while matching her practical survivor styling.
Trial Weathering and Survival FX
Without dirt and battle wear, survivor cosplays can easily blend in with regular street clothes. Claudette spends her trials crouching in swamp mud, repairing rusted generators, and escaping killers.
Work watered-down black and raw umber acrylic paint or powdered charcoal across high-friction spots: the elbows of the teal shirt, the pocket seams of the pink blouse, and the knees of the capris. Smudges across the forearms and collarbones suggest hours spent fixing heavy machinery.
Apply the Coagulated Blood Gel around scratches on the forearms or across torn seams where an injured survivor would patch themselves up. Coagulated gel holds its shape without dripping down your skin, creating realistic dried scrapes that photograph convincingly under bright convention lighting.
