Putting this together does not require fabricating an entire armored chest rig from scratch to sell the silhouette. The combination of a sleeveless athletic cut, high-waisted woodland fatigues, and her signature knotted headwear immediately establishes who you are playing before you even pick up a prop weapon.
The Base Uniform: Tank Top and Camouflage Cargo Pants
Vasquez spends most of her deployment in a fitted, sleeveless olive drab top rather than a standard BDU jacket. The Racerback Tank Top in Olive gives you the correct athletic profile across the shoulders and back. Because Vasquez looks like she has spent weeks in transit and combat drops, a brand-new, clean shirt will look out of place. Light weathering goes a long way here: rubbing diluted dark fabric paint, chalk dust, or watered-down acrylic wash around the collar and armholes simulates field grime and sweat marks without ruining the fabric’s stretch.
